Advocacy: These are places that can help you learn about services and how to access them.
Centers for Independent Living: every state has CILs. They help people with disabilities be independent and some have educational advocates on staff.
Guardianship and Advocacy Commission: for residents of Illinois. This is a State agency that has responsibilities to ensure the rights of people with disabilities are protected. https://gac.illinois.gov/

ABA Specific information
Behavior Analysis Certification Board: www.bacb.com-find a certified provider of Applied Behavior Analysis, check the credential of an RBT, BCaBA , BCBA and BCBA-D, file a complaint against a certified individual. https://www.bacb.com/

State Department of Education: every state has a department responsible for the provision of educational services for students. They have a lot of publicly available resources to help parents and educators meet the needs of students. They are also a good source of support when you have questions related to educational services.
